Unfortunately due to the increase in COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, as well as advice from industry leadership bodies, there is an urgent need to complete all procedures as soon as possible and postpone those patients who we can postpone.
Our nursing team called the patients whose cycles are postponed today and we will start their cycles as soon as we start offering cycles again. These patients will face no additional expenses for restarting their cycle in the future. There are some cycles that will proceed for patients who have already downregulated and who will have their transfer in the coming weeks.
We are sorry we had to make the decision to postpone some cycles but we are taking action to protect our patients and staff and comply with industry-wide recommendations. We greatly appreciate the support and understanding of the patients who were affected by decisions related to the pandemic and we look forward to seeing you when we start offering cycles again.
AART remains open and will answer any questions patients have via phone calls or email. We will be offering teleconference appointments in the coming weeks. We are arranging for non-critical staff to work from home to enable our operations to continue.
We will advise when we are back to business as usual and appreciate your patience during this time.Leave a reply →
